This is my favorite recipe for fresh green beans.
Ingredients:
As many fresh green beans as you and your family can eat
Fresh Garlic
Fresh Onions (any type work)
Salt
Put the green beans in a crock pot and fill with water to just cover the beans. Finely mince garlic, using a garlic press works as well for this, then place garlic in the crock pot. Mince the onion and put in water. Add salt to flavor and stir well.
Allow to cook on low heat for 6-8 hours. When done the beans will be tender and highly flavorful!
Experiment with the recipe to find the amount of garlic onions and salt that you will like. My family enjoys a heavy onion flavor with salt and light garlic!
Enjoy!
