Male Only Zucchini Flowers

It is often said that zucchini will only bare male flowers early on in their life. This is proving to be the case with my zucchini’s right now. I currently have 3 plants and there is a total of about 20 flowers, all of them being male.

I have yet to see one of the male flowers open, but I also have not spent much time in the garden early in the morning either.

I set up 2 plants in my small garden and one in a container. The one in the container has a richer soil but is growing and flowering at almost the exact speed as the 2 that are in the rows!
