Okra – 2 Days of Fruit Development

It has been 2 days since the first fruit was set on my Okra plants this season. It still never ceases to amaze me how fast this wonderful summer crop develops once it starts to set fruit. Just 3 days ago there was a flower, yesterday a small okra and today an okra that is nearly a ½” larger than it was yesterday.

At this growth rate I expect to harvest the okra in around 4-5 days!
