| Features | This kit features 72 self watering seed starting cells that each include a seed starting mixture pellet that is all housed in a neat and clean mini-greenhouse. |
| Instructions | The included instructions were okay. They told how to get the system set up and started but failed to include some important information. A good example is it does not tell how important it is to keep the pellets facing up and down when expanding them, if they are not it will be next to impossible to get the mixture to fill out correctly. |
| Ease Of Use | I found the kit to be quite easy to use, other than a few issues with the pellets facing the wrong direction. Once the seeds are planted the Burpee Green House Kit is basically set it and forget it until the seed start to germinate. |
| Effectiveness | Most of the seeds germinated with in the first 3 days, a few took an extra day or two after. I found that once the seeds germinated that is when the kit starts to loose a little bit of its luster for me. There is not very much space for root development and seedlings were sometimes difficult to remove from the cells. |
| Comments | The single largest complaint I have about this system is the construction of the cells. They are very thin and crack easy. If Burpee makes this system with a little thicker, more sturdy plastic they will have a real winner on their hands! |
