This winter has been one of the coldest winters that Central Florida has ever seen. We had 8 days in a row in my area that saw temperatures in the 20’s over night. Here are a few things I have noticed!
Observations
- All of my hibiscus look decimated
- All of my small (under 3.5’ tall) citrus trees are a golden brown
- All of my succulents have very soft and mushy leaves
- All Tomato plants that were still alive are now dead
- All Basil plants that were still outside are dead
- Most Winter Vegetables all did well.
How did your gardens do with the cold?
