I had one female flower already die, but I just think it was a bad flower to begin with. It was only about an inch long and about 1/8th of an inch thick before it turned yellow then brown!

These will be my first Zucchini and I am quite excited to taste them fresh! Both my wife and I love Zucchini, grilled, stuffed, in a shish kabob really in just about any way possible!

Lucky you, female flowers already! I often do hand pollinating of my female squash flowers - not hard at all, just pick a male, strip it of petals and swish it around on the female flowers. It guarantees success - I just hate it when my female squash wither and die because they didn't get pollinated! :-(
